As a husband and wife writing team, Mark and Sheri Dursin have worked on a number of creative endeavors both together and independently. Most recently they have completed a novel for young adults. But their most cherished creations are their beloved twin boys.
Mark is a high school English teacher and a huge fan of Milton, Salinger, and Tim O’Brien; he also loves, with equal fervor, Star Wars, WWE, and 80’s pop songs. He has been published in the Hartford Courant, ESPN.com, and several online journals, including The Faster Times. Mark is the rare believer that teenagers can actually be a force for good in this world and do not solely exist to drive the rest of the world crazy. Mark also blogs at teachertrenches.blogspot.com.
Sheri is a freelance writer and a fan of movie adaptations of Jane Austen novels, science fiction, Greek mythology, and really anything with a good love story. She believes that adolescence is the best time to discover how the magic of fiction can help make sense of the world. She writes for the 15-year-old girl still living inside her. Sheri also creates and presents programs on spirituality and wellness for women and finds tremendous joy in encouraging others to discover their gifts.
