This previous year, as all of you very well know, we experienced a great drought. This compounded by the arrival of locusts has severely affected our crop this year.
We speak to all those who remember when newspapers were supposed to present the truth, not just the truth of the facts, but our truths. Newspapers can be used to give the news but they can also be used to open up a window into all of our lives. We at the Daily Blurb are committed to providing a new Newspaper that is about you.
Our humble nation of Vision has only existed for 20 short years. In this time we have begun our steps onto the forefront of history. Many things have happened in the time since Vision began, and, in honour of our nation’s 20th anniversary we have decided to back on and celebrate our beginnings.
Our nation’s history, though short, has been rich with new findings and learnings. It has been a flourishing country that continues to innovate and come up with new ways of doing things. This includes newspapers. However, until now, with the Morning Star, there have been few newspapers that paint the truth as it is. In the beginning, there was only anti-government or pro-government propaganda. Now, we have papers on things like economics or papers that sycophantically praise everything our government does.
