The peasants have started to revolt. Many of the capital’s peasants are angry over the government’s new decisions. Members of the military have joined them. This means that they are armed and dangerous. After the revolution, the peasants who fought were allowed to keep their guns. This appears to have been an oversight.
Styling themselves Utopia’s guardsmen after the vile ‘friend of utopia’, these protesters have surrounded the council hall. They are angered by our wise government’s choice to be annexed by the Eastern Empire. They have also rallied around two women, Eliza Wellington, and Jamile King. Eliza, has been proven to be angry, high strung, and very radical. People like her should never be near the halls of power. This proves that the protests are violent radicals and must be stopped.
The rioters carried signs that declared utopia ‘the true future of Vision’ among other slogans that invoked messages from the ‘Letter of Utopia’. Many people carried flags and proclaimed that they were the true heirs of Vision. The protests and rallies have gained support among the uneducated peasants, who do not understand that their government has their best interests at heart.
We have a report by one of the aristocrats who are in fear because of the protests. “These people are radicals who would have us all killed. We are in fear for our lives”
It seems that the members of our esteemed aristocracy have good reason to be afraid. We have seen two instances of protesters burning down houses of the aristocracy. Fredrick Jarte tried to calm the mobs recently. Whereas once, people would recognize his greatness and stand down, his presence only caused a mild quiver through the crowd. Is nothing sacred? We should listen to our great leaders.
The worst part is that a few people are carrying signs that invoke the persona of the traitor Mordon Genette who recently stepped down from the council while slandering other aristocrats and royal scientists. Some have posters that continue Genette’s work of slandering Fredrick Jarte, our paragon of justice. They have also begun defaming our esteemed leader Lady Lila.
We are here to ask you to help defend our government and its leaders. This is a call to those who were there and fought to defend our nation when it began and are here to defend it now before it ends. We should trust our leaders, especially Fredrick Jarte, who has told us multiple times that we must trust our government. After all, they are our leaders for a reason. They know what is best for us.
We all must be sure and steadfast in these trying times. We must listen to our government for guidance. Figures such as Lady Lila and Fredrick Jarte are people that we can trust. They have done so much for us. They have given so much, even starting SciTech a partially humanitarian company devoted to being on the forefront of technology. They have worked to bring Vision to the forefront. Despite this, the world is currently against us. We will not change, we will not let peasants get swelled heads with fanciful ideas such as liberty and freedom. Do not let them win. This is not just a battle for control. It is a battle over ideas, a battle over who should have the power and who should be given the right to rule. We cannot let the peasants take away our power. They do not deserve it, you do not deserve it.
