The famine has caused many difficulties and its continued progress has stunted Vision. Many are dying. Our government will need to solve this. Being elected also means that the government needs to help people. It needs to help solve the hunger problem. After all, its effects can be seen almost everywhere, even in the capital. The government will need to do something. Otherwise, the famine will not disappear and many more citizens of Vision will suffer and die.

The underlying problem of the famine was the drought. That was what we wrote in one of our first issues on the subject. As you know, the effects were compounded by poverty and income” reported editor Garth Hayes, an economist focusing on food security and nutrition. But what’s new is we’re seeing that other countries have become loath to trade with us. They do not want to sell to us. This is for several reasons. First, many of our businesses are smaller. They don’t have enough money to buy in bulk. As such, it is harder for them to get good deals. They aren’t the priority. Also, Vision upended the social order. Many of its businesses were upended. They are worried about associating with us because of our unrest. They are afraid that we may revolt against them and label them ‘oppressors’ and ‘aristocrats.’ It appears as if being overly radical has soured possible relationships. However, they are working with SciTech. It gained standing with them during its past. It has still been able to secure food for us. We need it to expand.

The impacts of the famine have been quite severe. According to certain reports, 13 hundred children have experienced malnourishment and stunted growth. This is especially a problem in the province of Teren. Also, 5 hundred have grown to be severely underweight. Many families have become worried, not knowing where they will find their next meal. Families are starving, children are starving. We need to help them. We have to reverse this trend. We cannot fail the province of Teren or the people who live there. Our government, especially Gareth Masou who is from Teren, needs to do something about this.

Sadly, this downward trend isn’t just a temporary blip. Experts don’t see the trend reversing on its own. We cannot just sit by and let this happen. The government, specifically, cannot just sit by. Many people fear that the famine will end up getting much worse unless the government intervenes. We have had long periods of civil strife and unrest. Our government needs to get things back on track.

As this trend continues, the current government of Vision is becoming more unstable. Soon, it will not be able to ensure basic things such as good health, good living conditions, or even basic public safety. The alarming famine and resulting food insecurity, as well as high levels of different forms of malnutrition, are a clear warning. We cannot leave anyone behind while on the road towards achieving A utopia. Vision has a strong, bright future, we cannot leave certain people out.
