Our esteemed national government has recently announced that it has killed the traitor Mordon Genette. Though many of us have gone into hiding and joined the resistance, this death may be a step towards reconciliation with our national government. After all, many of us feared that old titles and old aristocrats such as Mordon Genette and Fredrick Jarte were influencing our government. Now we may be assured that they are not. Genette is dead and Fredrick Jarte’s creation, SciTech has been stamped into the dirt.
We understand that many of you may be shocked by our change in tone. After all, it was we who encouraged many of you to resist. But, we must make it clear that we are not advocating for our government. They are far from perfect and may not ever fully regain our trust. We rebelled for good reason. Some, such as Gareth Masou were traitors. But, we are the people of Vision and we decided peoples’ fates. We do not want to irreparably damage our relationship with the current, and with all future, governments. We must think critically and with a rational mind.
After all, we don’t want to make things unnecessarily hard for ourselves and we do not want to needlessly attack our government. Though we may never trust each other, it may be best for us to rejoin society. If we can be pragmatic, swallow our pride and return to Vision, we may be able to change it from the inside out. The change will be slow, yes, but we will be able to further the Vision we want to see. After all, we did now fight for our Vision so that it would be a place filled with violence. We fought so that our children and our grandchildren may have peace. If we can do that better from inside the government then so we must.
Our government has already begun a show of good faith. They have put the traitors to death. If we all turn ourselves into the government they are sure to act mercifully. We can trust they will do that much. After all, that is what we would look for in elected leaders. We must have faith in our government. They will not betray us, for this is the Vision that we have fought for, a Vision of peace. We need to put our reservations aside.
After all, they are already beginning to do good. They have also begun to end the famine. With time, work, and dedication, we may all be able to eat soon. But, we cannot feed people while hiding. We cannot do good while in hiding. If we wish to change Vision for the better, we will need to join our government. We will be able to serve esteemed corporations such as LilyPad Enterprises. We will further the revolution that was started so long ago. Vision will be a place of fiery ideals. So, we implore you, let us resurface, and work together so that Vision may be an egalitarian utopia.
