We need to talk. People are dying and the government won’t say anything. It makes sense. After all, they are the ones doing the killing. So, before we continue with this newspaper we would like you to take a moment of silence. For today we mourn the Deaths of Samantha Key, Mordon Genette, and David Huegh.

The First Rumor

Mordon Genette didn’t deserve death; he did what he thought was right. He turned against the old oppressive government. It was he inspired us. We couldn’t have succeeded without him. And our new government killed him. They disregarded his reparations and let him die. Many cheered at his death. After all, his death was heavily politicized and represented much more than just the end of Mordon Genette. It represented the end of the old government.

But, few would have cheered his passing if our current government had told everyone the entire truth. For, in his house, our government found papers, letters. He was writing letters of progress and hope, of change and revolution. He was writing about Utopia. It appears as if Mordon Gernette was our dear friend of utopia. It was he who inspired us. Our government doesn’t want anyone to know. After all, the ‘friend of utopia’ had great fame and popularity. Even our current government could not defame it. If the people knew that our government had killed the dear ‘friend of utopia,’ they would probably riot. The government doesn’t want this to happen.

The government itself broadcasted and proclaimed his death. The rumor was that he was the friend of Utopia. And, multiple people confirmed this, including Gareth Masou who s very much respected.

He said “Allies within the council told me that he was the friend of utopia. I am inclined to believe them. But, I made sure to check for myself. I went to the location where Genette was rumored to have been found. There I saw a destroyed printing press and papers that were being hauled away to be burned. I was able to get my hands on one of these papers and it was indeed an unfinished letter of utopia. Sadly, he is no longer able to finish it.”

It seems as if this rumor has a 97% chance of being right.

The Second Rumor

Tragic as his death is, it pales in comparison to the next rumor that I shall discuss; that of the death of Samantha Key. After all, the current government had at least an ostensible reason for Gentte’s murder. This is not the case with Samantha Key. Samantha Key is a singularly kind individual who started a soup kitchen. Many people can tell you about how she was the only one who kept them from starving. She did far more to ease the famine then our government has.

But, her help and her goodness go far beyond the soup kitchen. She employed many local teens, giving many their first real-world experience, and their first paycheck. She donated much of what she had, making sure that those around her wanted neither for food nor water nor shelter nor any other conceivable need. Samantha Key used her wealth for good. Currently, she is being demonized for this. The current government killed her because of her old power and old money. They said that she was a remnant of the ‘old oppressive government.’ But, anyone that had ever met Samantha would be able to say that she was one of the few that used their wealth responsibly. This is not to say that she was perfect, nor do we say that we should allow a few people to hoard most of the money. Instead, we say that there were worse people out there, Lady Lila for one.

Samantha Key will be missed.

We cannot 100% confirm the rumor. However, this idea has been expressed by many, one of Samantha’s friends, Jamile King told us this “Samantha had been worried for some time now. Her silence seems to indicate that our government has done something.”

“See, she gave aid to Mordon Genette and thinks that that is the reason. Also, the government has been growing increasingly hostile towards people with so-called ‘old power.’ Samantha Key is one of those people. We do not have much proof, however. But I can tell you that Samantha should have been a member of the new government. She gained way more votes than Charles Brake, the only one that beat her out was Gareth Masou. So, we have proof that the government was trying to stack the cards against Samantha. It is more than likely that they are the cause of her death.

The final proof that I have is that many members of our new government’s national guard have been sighted near Samantha Keys’ house. They are hiding something.

It seems as if this rumor has a 69% chance of being right.

The Third Rumor

Lastly, we need to talk about the supposed death of David Huegh. Many people think this. For one, he hasn’t written any articles recently. What’s more, they are by Charles Brake who is the new editor. Many people think that these changes to the Morning Star are evidence of his death.

For example:

Anonymous:

“David Huegh would never let these things happen to the Mourning Star. Our new government must have tried to eliminate him. The Morning Star is falling.”

However, many other things could have happened to David Huegh, he could have fled, been captured, or even betrayed us. We have neither concrete evidence nor eyewitness testimony.

It seems as if this rumor has a 42% chance of being right.
